解放军总医院--华盛顿中心医院冠心病介入诊断治疗新概念研讨会---- Dr. Pichard复杂冠脉病变Cypher支架置入手术演示

解放军总医院心血管内科与美国华盛顿中心医院（Washington Hospital Center）心脏科，将于2005年3月21日-22日在北京联合举行冠心病介入治疗新概念研讨会及手术演示。特邀请美国华盛顿中心医院心脏内科Dr. Pichard和周义福教授进行讲座。Dr. Pichard主要擅长于在IVUS 指导下进行冠脉介入治疗，多次担任TCT主席，是国际著名的介入心脏病学专家。届时将通过中国介入在线网站(www.cir.org.cn)和医心网站(www.ccheart.com.cn)进行手术实况转播。

Dr Augusto Pichard

Graduated Summa cum Laude from the Catholic University of Chile.

Completed Cardiology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic (1971-3) and stayed on Staff t the Cleveland Clinic until 1975.

Director of the Cath Labs at Mount Sinai Hospital New York 1975-81. Started Coronary Angioplasty at that Institution.
Sabbatical at the Catholic University in Chile 1982, where he initiated Angioplasty and a Clinical Research Program.

Came to Washington in 1983 as Director of the Cath Labs at the Washington Hospital Center and Professor of Medicine of the G Washington University. Under his direction, the Washington Hospital Center performs 5,600 angioplasties and 12,000 diagnostic catheterizations a year, and is very active in Clinical and Basic Research.

Dr Pichard’s expertise is in Invasive Cardiology and has trained numerous cardiologists in that specialty.
Dr Pichard has authored over 400 manuscripts in Peer Reviewed Journals and has been very active in national and international educational activities related to his specialty.

Dr Pichard is a member of several Editorial Boards and is a Fellow in numerous Professional Organizations.
Dr Pichard is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
